Don Morrill, Owner Broker

Don MorrilI has lived his entire life in Vermont, except for the years he served in the United States Navy. Don returned to Vermont after getting out of the service in 1967. He married a young lady from New Jersey and has been married for 41 years! Don recalls, "My wife fell in love with Vermont so we have lived here ever since I got out of the Navy." Don enjoys all sports, especially hunting and fishing. He has been involved in a wide range of activities in support of his community including coaching little league for 14 years. Don has also served as Assistant Chief and Chief of the Newark Volunteer Fire Department serving 25 years as a firefighter. Deeply involved in town politics, Don Morrill has held a town office for more than 30 years, including 14 years as a Newark town selectman, 6 years as an auditor and over 10 years as a lister. Don presently has two grown children and four grandchildren. Don says, "I would not move out of Vermont for any reason on a permanent basis, but I do like camping with my travel trailer in Maine, and plan to take a trip across the USA in the future. No matter where we travel, it is always good to come back to Vermont and the safe feeling of living here." Don is licensed in Vermont as a Real Estate Broker, a member of the board of Northeast Kingdom Realtors, Vermont Association of Realtors, National Association of Realtors and a member of the local MLS. Don is also licensed and certified in Vermont as a Real Estate Appraiser and owns Morrill and Guyer Associates, Vermont Preferred Land and Homes in partnership with Broker, Annie Guyer.
